Habitat for Humanity of Wake County is the most recent to join the list
of Habitat affiliates who have committed to an ABILITY Build.
Like the affiliates before them,
the staff and volunteers have been very welcoming to engaging people with disabilities as volunteers, and took no time in getting creative with a few minor modifications needed
to put their homeowner who is
blind right to work!

Additionally, Habitat for Humanity of Wake County has connected ABILITY Awareness with Meredith College, the full sponsor of this home. The faculty and students of Meredith College are committed to ensuring all members of their current and alumni community are engaged, and we are excited to see the ABILITY House College Students with Disabilities initative come to life!
